We offer private and comfortable small group cruises aboard our 40’ charterboat, the Saltery C. The trips are 5 days and 4 nights and are designed for 4-6 persons. We provide a wide variety of outdoor activities to suit any experience level. On every adventure with us you’ll explore designated Wilderness areas far from the cruise ship tourist scene, and far from the crowded fishing grounds.

With CAC you’ll finally experience an intimate and harmonious experience with nature in the real Alaska, remote and wild. Young and old, men and women, families and corporate groups - no matter what your group "configuration" is, we can custom design a trip for you and include as many activities as you like at a pace you’re comfortable with.

Classic Alaska Charters specializes in light tackle saltwater fishing for halibut, ling cod, yelloweye, & rockfish, along with king, coho, sockeye, chum, and pink salmon. We also combine freshwater fly/spin fishing for salmon, steelhead, cutthroat, rainbow, and Dolly Varden trout. All trips include setting and pulling pots for Dungeness crab and jumbo spot prawns - you'll have all you want! And, there's plenty of time for wildlife watching and photography, hiking, kayaking and beach combing. These can be done just about anytime and for as long as you wish. We are U.S. Coast Guard certified, Registered Outfitter Guide and Priority Use Permit holder with the U.S. Forest Service (Tongass National Forest) and Registered Freshwater/Saltwater fishing guide with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
